Ingredients
1 The Butcher Co. Beef Blade roast
200ml Strong Black coffee
2 tablespoons bbq spice rub
175ml Beer
300ml beef stock
Method
Pre-heat oven to 150degree C. Place blade roast in oven proof roasting dish and rub in bbq spices all over. Combine coffee, beer & stock in a jug & stir well. Pour 3/4 marinade over roast and cover tray tightly with foil. Bake for 3 hours – check every hour and re-baste roast with remaining sauce and top up with extra water if necessary. You’ll know the brisket is ready when it is tender and easy to slice. Slice and serve with veggies or salad.
