Michael and Liz Zahnow, with some help from their kids, grow and harvest beautiful aromatic new season garlic on their Kalbar Farm.
They've been growing garlic on their Cordella Farm for the past eight years and once you try their pungent garlic you'll realise not all garlic is created equal.
They grow a variety called Glen Large and their bulbs are sweet and aromatic and packed with flavour and health properties.
Their journey to garlic farming started when they watched a TV gardening show which featured garlic. Inspired, they planted their first crop and it's blossomed from there.
They say their favourite way to enjoy garlic is to roast whole bulbs with a roast (try The Butcher Co's Rolled Rib Roast). Then they squeeze the cloves over their meat and veggies. Garlic is also fantastic cooked with butter and mushrooms.
