For the last 20 years as a husband and wife team Barry and Juliet have had a passion for creating Bakery goods that were around in your youth, hoping to bring back some special memories for their customers. When they moved to the Scenic Rim they saw an opportunity to open a Bakery in a small town called Harrisville. During this time they have had many requests to open a second shop in Kalbar, that’s when Kalbar Country Bakehouse was established.

We hope you enjoy the fruits of their labour knowing their ingredients are locally sourced and made with love in the Scenic Rim.

    Chocolate, covered air,!!

    These are amazing. You eat a whole one and you don't feel like you've eaten anything much at all, but you've but you've had mouthful of chocolate covered air. absolutely amazing, so light and so much flavour and just incredible. I wish I could make sponge as good as this. They are truly delicious
